Vertical rod with ring and bolt-latch
The dominant drawing shows a tall vertical rod topped by an oval loop or ring, with a horizontal T-bar and a bolt-latch fitting toward its lower end. It reads as a latch or locking mechanism operated along the length of the shaft.
Geometric schemes for a building's vaults
Fainter constructions carry numbers and measurements (20, 39, 50 and spans given in braccia) applied to the vaults of a building. They set out the proportional geometry of the vaulting rather than a finished elevation.
