Column profile with proportional relationships
A pen-and-chalk plan of a column with a note of proportional figures
A pen-and-red-chalk sheet devoted to a column profile and its proportional relationships. The drawing in the upper right sets out a stepped plan divided into compartments, with small numerals marking the divisions and dots for measured points. An accompanying note records a sequence of proportional figures governing the parts.

Profile and plan of a column
The upper right of the leaf carries a pen drawing of a column profile with its proportional layout: a stepped arrangement of rectangular compartments and rounded members marked off by dotted measuring points. Small numerals (1, 2, 3) label successive divisions. The construction is partly reinforced in red chalk.
Proportional figures
A short note sets down the proportional relationships governing the profile as a run of numbers: 7 (and 8?) - 2 - 4 - 3. These figures give the relative measures of the successive parts of the column.
