End of the Book-List: Eighteen Pieces in All
The inventory closes with three little books and a total count
This page completes the compiler's inventory of Leonardo's manuscripts that form the Treatise on Painting. Four more books are listed, then 'three other little books' each separately marked, before the note tallies everything up: 'which are in all no. 18'. Below the list a later hand's signature and the circular Vatican Library ink stamp have been added, neither of which belongs to the original text.

Three further little books
After four more entries each noted as 'marked', the list adds 'three other little books' ('tre altri librettini'), of which one, then the other, then the last is each given its own mark. This distinguishes small booklets from the larger volumes counted above.
A total of eighteen pieces
The memorandum ends by summing the whole collection: 'which are in all no. 18'. The count fixes the number of separate manuscript pieces that Leonardo's material was drawn from to assemble the Treatise.
