Colour-calibration target beside a page of the Trattato
X-Rite ColorChecker photographed with an open leaf of Leonardo's treatise on painting; no text transcribed.
This is a digitization reference image: an X-Rite ColorChecker Classic colour-calibration chart, watermarked by the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, laid beside the open Codex Urbinas. At the left edge a densely written manuscript page of Leonardo's Trattato della pittura is partly visible, but this bundle carries no transcription of it. Further untranscribed Italian text is present on that leaf and has not been read or rendered here.

Untranscribed page of the treatise on painting
The left portion of the photograph shows an open, densely written manuscript page of the Codex Urbinas, the compilation of Leonardo's thoughts on painting. Its Italian prose is not included in this bundle and is therefore left untranscribed. The remainder of the frame is occupied by the standardized colour-reference chart used to calibrate the digitization.
