A page of mirror-script prose; a very small sketch drawn inside a boxed passage
The leaf is almost entirely Leonardo's mirror-script, present but not transcribed in this bundle. One paragraph is boxed off, and within it a very small ink figure is drawn, apparently a diagram embedded in the running text. The dense prose, part of the treatise on painting and on light and shade, is accompanied by annotations in a later hand along the foot of the leaf.
