Studies of ornate mace and polearm heads
Spiked maces, a star-head, crescent halberds and spear points drawn on blue paper
Drawn on blue-tinted paper, the sheet gathers many designs for the heads of hafted weapons: spiked mace and morning-star heads, a large radiating star-shaped head, crescent-bladed halberd heads, and slender spear or spontoon points. Several hatched vertical shafts along the right edge appear to represent the poles or staves the heads would mount on. Elaborated with flanges and finials, the drawings read as display or parade arms rather than plain field weapons. Old inventory letters ('C.', 'B.2') and library stamps appear in the margins.

Spiked mace and star-shaped heads
At upper left are several spiked mace or morning-star heads, together with a large head built from long radiating spikes arranged like a star. Each is fitted to a socketed collar for mounting on a shaft.
Crescent halberds and spear points
Toward the center and right are crescent- or lunette-bladed heads and narrow spear or spontoon points, some with barbed or flanged bases. They read as heads for polearms.
Decorative flanges and finials
Many of the heads carry ornamental flanges, lobed collars and finial knobs, marking them as decorative or parade arms rather than plain functional weapons.
