Bound cylindrical devices and a fantastical beast head
Two corded, sack-like containers with carrying loops above a maned dragon-like head
The upper half shows two cylindrical objects tightly bound with cords and fitted with hanging loops or bail handles; one is tied off at both ends like a stuffed sack, the other hangs mouth-up like a bucket or lantern with a conical, tasselled base. Given the military character of these leaves, they read as slung incendiary or camp devices. Below, drawn separately, is a fantastical beast or dragon head in profile, with a flowing mane and open jaws. An old inventory letter 'C.' and library stamps appear at the edges.

Two corded, slung containers
Two cylindrical forms are wrapped with lashing cords and given loops for carrying or hanging; one is bound and tied at both ends, the other has a bail handle and a pointed, tasselled base. They resemble slung incendiary or supply devices.
Fantastical maned beast head
At lower center a beast or dragon head is drawn in profile, with a curling mane, open jaws and a whiskered muzzle, of the sort used for decorative crests or ornaments.
