In pen Leonardo gives a pigment note: a fine ochre can be made by the same method used for white lead (biacca). Turned upside down in red chalk are workshop accounts - a column of figures (7000 times 475 giving 3,325,000) and a memorandum on the mills of Vigevano recording measures of grain and a charge of 100 lire per mill - beside a drawing of a hinge (cerniera). Further writing at the foot of the sheet is not included in the transcription.
