A November reckoning of months owed and works made: candlesticks, a jack, and locks
The whole page is a memorandum in mirror script, headed 1493. On 1 November Leonardo and his assistants settled accounts: Giulio still owed four months of work and maestro Tommaso nine. The note then itemises what each produced afterwards - six candlesticks, certain springs, a jack (martinetto), and two locks - each with the days or dates involved, including a day Giulio worked for a woman.
