Compass heads with hinged legs
Two large studies at the top show disc- or coil-shaped compass heads from which paired legs descend, one leg ending in a joint or foot at the lower left. A crown of short prongs, touched with dark and greenish colour, tops the head at upper right. The forms detail the pivot and fittings of a drawing compass.
Circular head and small knotted fittings
