Springs(?) and Undetermined Devices; Ornamental Motifs
Mechanical sketches with a fractional note and decorative forms
A red-chalk sheet the catalogue reads as springs and undetermined apparatus, the last device carrying the fractions 1/6 and 2/3. Two boxed mechanisms with discs, levers and shafts fill the upper half. Below them, set apart from the machinery, are two ornamental motifs — a looped knot-like form and a rosette or mask — with a small bow-shaped flourish beneath.

Boxed mechanisms with discs and levers
The upper study frames two discs, one small and one large, linked by levers and a set-square-like fitting over a base. A second mechanism below shows paired wheels on a shaft. The catalogue reads these as springs and undetermined apparatus, and the note 1/6 2/3 dimensions the last of them.
Knot and rosette motifs
Below the machinery two decorative forms are drawn apart from it: a looped, interlaced knot-like shape at left and a compact rosette or mask at right, with a small bow-shaped flourish beneath. These ornamental motifs carry no caption in the bundle.
