A timber bridge drawn in three views above memoranda of payments to and from Galeazzo
The lower two-thirds of the sheet carries a red-chalk study of a timber bridge shown three ways: a cross-section, a frontal elevation, and a ground plan with its foundation, each tagged with spans in braccia. Above, in red chalk and pen, run brief household memoranda: a payment from Pulisena, the agreement (dated 14 March 1494) under which Galeazzo came to board with Leonardo for 5 lire a month, and receipts of Rhenish florins from Galeazzo and his father. The page thus pairs a structural drawing with dated financial and personal notes.

Timber bridge in section, elevation and plan
The bridge is worked out in three views. A cross-section is marked 2 braccia; the frontal view is marked 5 braccia; and a ground plan shows the structure with its foundation. The trestle-like supports and deck are drawn in red chalk.
Payments in lire and Rhenish florins
The notes record 12 lire received from Pulisena on 25 August, and 2 Rhenish florins given by Galeazzo's father, with a further 2 Rhine florins received from Galeazzo on 14 July. The board agreement fixed 5 lire a month for expenses, paid every 14 days.
Galeazzo comes to board with Leonardo
On 14 March 1494 Galeazzo came to stay with Leonardo under an agreement to pay 5 lire a month toward his expenses. It is a dated personal memorandum of a member of the household coming to live in.
