Opening leaf of Notebook I2 with faded inscriptions
Cover / first recto of the second notebook; writing now largely rubbed away
This is the opening leaf of the second notebook, I2, within Paris Manuscript I, described in the source caption as the cover or folio 1r of that quire. It bears faint diagonal traces of handwriting that are now largely rubbed away and illegible, and an oval Bibliotheque de l'Institut stamp sits at the lower right. The source supplies no transcription; further untranscribed writing is present on the leaf but cannot be read from the image.
