The main body of the page continues Leonardo's Latin-Italian vocabulary, listing pronouns, numerals and particles such as uterque (l'uno e l'altro), neuter (ne l'un ne l'altro), bini (a 2 a 2) and terni (a 3 a 3). Beside the list, at the left, is a small architectural sketch of a framed opening or wall structure. Turned the other way up at the lower left, a note in red chalk records three small sums in soldi against the words te, solaro and moro.

Latin vocabulary glossed in Italian
The word-list pairs each Latin term with an Italian meaning, here including grammatical distinctions such as aliquis (alcuno, cioe ignoto) versus quidam (alcuno noto). It also gathers numeral adverbs bini and terni and function words like copulat (congiugne, cioe accoppia) and vapulant (glossed 'is beaten').
Small architectural sketch
A tiny pen sketch to the left of the word-list shows a framed opening or built structure with uprights and lintel. It is a slight marginal drawing carrying no accompanying text.
Expense note in red chalk (inverted)
Written upside down relative to the main text and in red chalk, this short account lists three items with their prices in soldi: the tea at 6, the ceiling (solaro) at 11, and the mulberry (moro) at 10. It is a jotted memorandum of small sums quite separate from the Latin study.
