Columns of adverbs and grades of comparison for language study
The page is given over to Latin vocabulary arranged in paired columns, part of Leonardo's self-schooling in grammar. One block sets 'intensives' (valde, nimium, prorsus, penitus, omnino) beside 'superlatives' (massime, minime, ocissime, dottissime). A second block pairs 'comparatives' (magis, minus, plus, celerius, tardius, tam, quam) with 'diminutives' (clanculum, belle). The whole sheet is a study of words and their degrees rather than a technical note.
