Four short segments carrying numeric lengths, in constant ratio
The sheet sets out short horizontal line-segments, each lettered and given a numeric length: a with 8 and c with 6 in the upper row, b with 4 and d with 3 below. The paired values keep a fixed ratio (a:b and c:d both fall as 2:1), a specimen of Notebook K's running study of proportion among magnitudes. The lines are laid in pencil and reworked in pen, as the folio heading records.
