Fortification Gate: Elevation and Plan
A gate structure with pediment and round opening, and its keyhole-shaped plan
The e-Leo caption records this inverted page as a fortification plan, and the only transcribed content is the number 201. The main drawing is a boldly inked gate or tower, its upper part crowned by a gabled pediment and pierced by a large arched opening around a round oculus. Below it a plan is laid out as a rounded, keyhole-shaped chamber flanked by straight walls, with lighter arrow-like and looped sketches added at the right.

Gate elevation with pediment and round opening
Drawn in heavy ink, the upper structure rises to a gabled, pedimented top over a large arched recess enclosing a circular oculus. Sloping hatched lines run back from it as if showing the flank of a wall or roof. It reads as the elevation of a fortified gate or tower.
Keyhole-shaped plan and the number 201
Below the elevation the plan is drawn as a rounded, keyhole- or teardrop-shaped chamber set between two straight walls with dotted guide lines. The transcribed figure 201, probably a measurement, accompanies the fortification plan. Lighter arrow-like and looped sketches are added toward the upper right.
