Beam joints and a camp bed with strapping
Sketches of jointed timbers and a field bed laced with buckled straps
The leaf gathers studies of how timber beams are joined, drawn from several angles, together with a camp bed (letto da campo) whose frame is strung with webbing. The note fixes dimensions of 4 and 2 1/3 braccia and a lacing of four straps lengthwise and eight crosswise, each buckled at one end and nailed at the other. Woven strapping and crossing timbers recur across the sheet.

Camp bed laced with straps
A field bed is given as 4 braccia by 2 1/3 braccia. Its frame is strung with four straps running lengthwise and eight running across; each strap is buckled at one end and nailed fast at the other.
