Circle with a sector drawn from its centre
A circle is crossed by a horizontal diameter, and a narrow wedge or sector is struck out from the centre to the circumference. The figure reads as a geometric construction on angles or the division of the circle.
Rectangle set above a semicircle
To the right of the circle a rectangle sits above a semicircle, marked with a small cross and a few faint letters. It appears to be a further geometric construction relating a straight-sided figure to a curved one.
