Pen and wash, on a sheet trimmed along a diagonal
A draped, long-haired woman sits and reclines at the centre, her legs stretched toward the right; beside her at left a small winged boy, a Cupid or putto, holds a slender shaft or arrow amid tall reeds and marsh plants. A second nude figure lies along the lower right edge of the sheet. The scene is drawn in fine pen and brown wash on paper trimmed on a strong diagonal across the upper right corner. The crowned Uffizi stamp is at lower right; no text accompanies the image.

Draped woman and winged boy
The central woman, her hair loose and her body wrapped in clinging drapery, leans back with her legs extended. At her left side a small winged boy presses close and grasps a thin shaft or arrow, giving the group the character of a mythological or allegorical episode.
Reclining nude at lower right
Along the lower right margin a further nude figure lies stretched out on the ground, its limbs faintly drawn and partly lost where the sheet is worn and trimmed.
Reeds and marsh setting
The left side of the sheet is filled with tall reeds and marsh vegetation that rise behind and around the figures, establishing an open watery or riverside setting for the scene.
