Five fragments: heads and small nude figures
A profile head, a study of exaggerated features, and three standing nudes
Five small paper fragments are mounted together in a row, each carrying a separate red-chalk sketch. The leftmost shows a head in profile and the next a face with strongly marked, almost caricatured features, while the three fragments to the right each bear a small standing male nude. The studies are slight and rapidly drawn, gathered on one support as a group of figure studies.

Head in profile at far left
The leftmost fragment carries a small head seen in profile, sketched in a few summary lines. The features are only lightly indicated and the shading is minimal.
Study of exaggerated facial features
The second, roughly square fragment shows a face with strongly marked, almost caricatured features, the nose and mouth heavily worked. The lines are looser and more emphatic than in the adjoining sheets.
Small standing male nudes
The three right-hand fragments each carry a small standing male nude. One stands frontally with arms lowered while another turns as if in movement, reading as quick studies of pose and stance.
