Cancelled Notes in a Second Hand
Upright non-Leonardo writing, mostly struck through and left out of the critical edition
Folio 100v carries writing in a second, non-Leonardo hand, set upright rather than in mirror script and mostly struck through except for its opening line and its last three lines. The critical edition omits this text, so it is not transcribed here; standing on the verso of the neighbouring optical study, it appears to continue notes on luminous and shadowy bodies.
