Pythagorean multiplication table
A ruled ten-by-ten grid holds the products of 1 to 10, with the top row and left column running 1..10 and the body filled to 100 in the corner. It serves as a ready-reckoner of the multiples named in the ratio terms written above it.
Ratio terms above the table
Four terms are written above the grid—quincupla, quadrupla, tripla, dupla—that is the quintuple, quadruple, triple and double ratios, linking the table to the proportion theory worked out on the facing leaves.
Small pen figure sketches
In the upper left two quick pen sketches show crouching and gesturing human figures, drawn rapidly and independent of the numerical work.
Two profile medallion heads
Near the lower centre are two small circular medallions each enclosing a head in profile, drawn like coins or medals.
Red-chalk studies of solids in perspective
The lower half bears faint red-chalk sketches of rectangular frames, a box seen in perspective and an inclined wedge-like form, apparently studies of solids consistent with the geometry of the surrounding leaves.
