Fortified Tower, Firing Bombard, and a Leafy Tendril
Drawings of a crenellated tower and a discharging bombard, beside a plant tendril and later hand-written notes.
The e-Leo record flags only that both folios carry text in another hand, omitted from the critical transcription, so no words are given here. The left folio is drawn with a tall crenellated tower and, below it, a long bombard on its mounted bed discharging a cannonball. Across the top of the right folio runs a leafy tendril, and both folios bear blocks of writing in a hand other than Leonardo's that remain untranscribed.

Crenellated tower and firing bombard
A tall battlemented tower with arched windows stands at the upper left. Below it a long barrel bombard, banded and set on a mounted bed with stays, is shown discharging a round shot with a flash at the muzzle.
Leafy tendril
A slender, wavy branch or tendril strung with small leaves is drawn horizontally across the top of the right folio.
