This opening of the Codex Arundel appears largely blank, with faint iron-gall writing showing through from the reverse of the leaves. In the lower part of the left-hand page (folio 75v) a light sketch is drawn: a triangular figure crossed by straight lines with a small curved arc, of the kind Leonardo used for geometric or mechanical constructions. No transcription is provided for this spread, and further untranscribed writing is faintly present on both pages.
