Geometric Projections with a Memorandum on Florence
Leonardo's lettered constructions beside an earlier hand's memorandum on Fra Girolamo's ordering of Florence
Leonardo's pen studies fill this sheet: at the top, straight lines (some in red chalk) radiate from a point across an arch-topped rectangle, with a jagged profile line down the right side and, below, a construction of crossing diagonals within a fan-shaped curve. Across the middle, in a hand earlier than the drawings, runs a memorandum reminding 'master Leonardo' to have ready a note on the state of Florence and on the method by which the Reverend Father Fra Girolamo ordered it. Memorandum on the state of Florence (earlier hand)
In a hand earlier than Leonardo's drawings, a memorandum reminds 'master Leonardo' to have ready promptly the note on the state of Florence, namely how the Reverend Father Fra Girolamo held the method and style in ordering it. It also asks for the ordinances and the exact form of each, and by what manner, means, and order they have been observed up to now.

Drawn with the sheet turned upside down, a geometric figure carries the lettered and numbered points S4-t5-v6-8x7-y8-bar. No accompanying reasoning is transcribed for it.
Projection lines over an arch-topped rectangle
At the top of the sheet, straight lines, several drawn in red chalk, fan out from a point at the upper left across a rectangle capped by a semicircular arch.
