Ledger of debits and credits in lire and soldi
Two columns of Latin accounts naming Milanese parties, folio references and dated sums, both totalling 7960.8.5.
The leaf carries a double-entry commercial ledger written in abbreviated Latin, not by Leonardo's own accounting but copied onto the sheet. The left column lists what one Antonius Salvatichus must give in credit to a series of named parties, each entry keyed to a book folio and a date from July through the following January, with sums in lire, soldi and denari; the right column lists the matching debits, item by item. Both columns close on the same total, 7960 . 8 . 5. Beneath the columns are faint pen sketches, including a reclining bearded head and a few triangles.

Left column: credits owed by Antonius Salvatichus
Antonius Salvatichus is charged to give, in credit, to a run of named people such as Steffano de Lampugnano, Johannes de Landriano, Donato de Comitte, Antonio Morono and Bartolomeo Aliprando. Each line cites a book folio and a day from 20 July onward, with amounts in lire, soldi and denari. The column ends with a sum near 7960.
Right column: matching debits, item by item
The right column records what he must have, written to the debit of parties such as Clemento de Medda, Guillelmo de Merliano, Petro Citadino and Johanni Mirabilia, each with its folio and date. Successive entries run from July into November and reference a separate 'celestial book'. The column totals 7960 . 8 . 5, matching the left.
Faint head and figure sketches below the accounts
Below the ruled columns the pen has traced a reclining bearded head in near profile together with a scatter of light triangular forms and stray lines. They are sketched independently of the ledger and are untranscribed. Their faintness suggests casual trials rather than a finished study.
