Faint Mechanical Linkage Sketches (817 recto)
Rods, pulley fittings and a small timber frame, drawn faintly in pen
The e-Leo record notes that this recto was invisible before restoration and carries no transcribed writing. The leaf in fact bears faint pen sketches of mechanical parts: a long horizontal train of thin rods and links across the centre, small pulley- or roller-like fittings, and a boxy timber frame at the upper right. Faint show-through from adjacent leaves is also visible, but no original text is supplied for translation.

Horizontal rod-train and a framed wheel
A row of slender rods and links runs across the middle of the sheet, punctuated by small circular pulley or roller fittings. At the upper right a rectangular timber frame encloses a wheel or drum. The lines are pale and abraded, consistent with a leaf recovered by restoration.
