Sheet of Mechanical Device Studies
Dozens of small mechanism sketches; a toothed wheel and crank in a frame at the centre
A crowded sheet covered with dozens of small pen sketches of mechanisms — wheels, cranked frames, gears, hull-like forms and assorted devices. The source records only the toothed wheel and crank set within a frame near the centre, annotated with the numerals 5-60. Most of the drawn content is not transcribed, and a later hand has added an inscription at the upper right.

Toothed wheel and crank in a frame
Near the centre of the sheet a toothed (geared) wheel with a crank handle is set within a rectangular frame, annotated with the numerals 5-60.
Untranscribed mechanical sketches
The remainder of the sheet is filled with many small studies of mechanisms, wheels, cranked frames and hull-like forms, together with a later inscription at the upper right; none of these are transcribed in the source.
