Interlaced knotwork ornament
Two panels of woven loops and knots
Two rectangular panels of interlaced ornament fill the sheet. The upper panel, in brown ink, is a dense lattice of interlocking oval loops crossed by diagonal strands that weave over and under into a continuous knotted band; a fainter lower panel repeats the woven pattern. The catalogue records the leaf as bearing no writing and invisible before restoration, so the design stands on its own without accompanying text.

Lattice of interlocking loops and knots
The upper panel is drawn as a regular grid of oval loops, each threaded through its neighbours by diagonal strands that cross over and under to read as a single continuous cord. A second, fainter panel below repeats the same interlace in a looser, sketchier hand. No lettering accompanies either design.
