Equal objects appear smaller with distance (verso)
The same perspective law and construction repeated on the reverse of the sheet
The verso restates the perspective law that, among things of equal size, the one farther from the eye appears smaller. As on the recto, ruled lines converge from a single upper point down to three equal circular bodies set in a row along the base, with a large faint compass arc enclosing the figure. The construction is lightly drawn and much of the paper is stained.

Converging sightlines to three equal bodies
Ruled lines fan from a single upper point down to three equal circular objects along the base, tracing the visual rays that reach each one. A large faint arc frames the whole construction.
