Halved cube and square; a red-chalk mechanism
Geometry on the small fragment, a faint machine drawing on the larger
The verso of this mounted leaf again shows two fragments. The smaller (sheet 927a) carries geometric sketches, a halved cube labelled a and a square labelled b, drawn among further small cube studies. The larger fragment (sheet 927b) is a faint red-chalk and metalpoint mechanism with vertical bars and horizontal rails, and the transcription records it as bearing no writing.

Halved cube and square
Among small solid studies a cube is shown halved and marked a, and a square figure is marked b. These continue the cube geometry of the recto.
Red-chalk mechanism (sheet 927b)
The larger left fragment carries a faint mechanism partly in red chalk, with a rank of vertical bars and long horizontal rails. The transcription notes this fragment carries no writing.
