Plans and sections for a centralized domed building
Ink studies of octagonal domed chapels clustered around a central space, with sections and pier details.
Pen-and-ink architectural studies fill the leaf: a centralized plan in which octagonal domed chapels cluster around a larger octagonal core, a related sectional study of an arched octagonal chamber below, and two smaller pier-and-vault details at the foot. A folio number '47' is written to the right. The catalogue record notes the sheet bears drawings only, without accompanying text.

Centralized plan with radiating octagonal chapels
The upper study shows a centralized building in plan: a large octagonal domed core is ringed by smaller octagonal chapels, their piers and stair placements sketched in. The scheme belongs to Leonardo's investigations of centrally planned, domed structures.
Section and pier-and-vault details
Below the plan a sectional study renders an octagonal chamber with its supporting arches and vaulting. Two smaller details at the foot examine the junction of piers and springing arches, testing how the loads would be carried.
