A densely worked sheet of mechanical studies: gear-wheels, ratchets and cranks, a large inclined-bar mechanism, drums and small wheeled frames. Along the top edge, written with the sheet inverted, runs a short string of dimensions in braccia, and one element is labelled a threaded shaft of five threads turning five times.
