Geared machine with a dished rotor and winding drums
A vertical-shaft mechanism driven by crown gears, with paired winding drums at the side.
The editorial note records that this leaf was invisible before restoration and carries no writing, yet a detailed mechanism is drawn on it. A large shallow dished element turns on a vertical shaft driven from above by a crown gear, while paired winding drums sit in a frame at the right and further toothed wheels engage at the base. A splayed spring- or fan-like element is sketched at the lower left.

Dished rotor driven through crown gears
A broad, shallow dish or cone is mounted on a central vertical shaft; a toothed crown wheel meshes with it from above and additional gear wheels engage the shaft at the base. Paired winding drums are framed to the right, and a splayed spring-like fitting appears at the lower left.
