Arrow-launching war engine with firearms and reckonings
A wheeled engine that throws arrows, a great crossbow, gun barrels and number notes
The sheet is dominated by a large inclined engine mounted on wheels, drawn with its cords and frame; the note beside it calls it a firearm that launches arrows (bombard, arrows). Around it are a great spanned crossbow at the left, an assortment of gun barrels and mortars below, and a crenellated wall running back in perspective. Two sets of numbers accompany the drawings: a row of fractions of two squares at the top and a column addition, with a further firearm noted as carrying swivel guns.

Wheeled engine that launches arrows
A large inclined engine stands on two wheels, its ratcheted beam and cords drawn in detail. The adjacent note identifies it as a firearm that launches arrows, giving the words for bombard and arrows. A crenellated fortification wall recedes in perspective at the right.
Great crossbow
At the left a large crossbow is drawn with its bent bow and wound cord, together with a separate stock fitted with a star-shaped spanning piece. It is shown apart from the central engine.
Another firearm with swivel guns
The note describes a further firearm carrying spingarde (swivel guns), with the fragmentary jotting 'tell me the things...'. Below the main engine are gun barrels, a mortar with its charge and a bundle of barrels grouped like an organ gun.
Fractions of two squares
A short line at the top of the sheet sets down measures 'of two squares' as a row of fractions. It reads 2 1/1, 2 1/3, 2 2/3.
Column addition
A small arithmetical operation arranges digits in three rows and draws a total beneath a rule, giving 10, 6, 9. A carried figure of ten is noted above.
