A face recorded by e-Leo as blank, yet bearing a crisp mechanical study
e-Leo records this face as invisible before restoration and devoid of writing and drawings, but the sheet clearly bears a mechanical study drawn in ink. At the left, two conical vessels shown in cut-away section are seated side by side in a rectangular block. At the right stands a symmetrical mechanism flanked by two toothed wheels, with a central upright element and a jointed arm reaching up and over from the top. No transcription accompanies these drawings.

Twin conical vessels in a block
Two funnel- or crucible-shaped forms are drawn in cut-away section, hatched to show their walls, and set side by side in a rectangular block or bed. A narrow channel runs down between them.
Two-wheeled geared mechanism with upper arm
At the right a symmetrical mechanism is flanked by two toothed wheels turning on horizontal axles. A vertical member rises at the centre, and a jointed arm or handle reaches up and over from the top of the frame.
