The editorial note records that this leaf was invisible before restoration and carries no writing. What survives are very faint mechanical sketches: at the centre an extensible scissor (lazy-tongs) linkage rising from a threaded shaft on a lamp-like base, with an instrument resembling a large pair of dividers or compasses at the upper centre and a coiled spring at the upper right. Additional faint fan- or frame-like devices appear at the upper left. No text is present to transcribe beyond the restorer's note.

Scissor (lazy-tongs) linkage on a threaded shaft
At the centre of the sheet a lattice of crossed, pivoted bars forms an extensible scissor linkage that rises from a threaded vertical shaft seated in a rounded, lamp-like base, an arrangement for extending or lifting.
Dividers and a coiled spring
At the upper centre a two-legged instrument like a large pair of dividers or compasses meets at a small wheel, and at the upper right a tightly coiled spring is drawn; further faint frame-like devices appear at the upper left.
