Pen-and-ink ground plan of a long rectangular building divided into three principal rooms in a single file, with narrow door openings between them and a straight flight of stairs rising along the right-hand end. Dimensions are written inside the rooms in braccia — 24 for the widest room and 12 for each of the two others — though the e-Leo transcription notes these figures are not in Leonardo's hand. Small squared marks along the walls indicate piers or door jambs.
