Octagons, rectangles in a circle, and a cord-tensioned tent frame
A crowded sheet of studies in pen over faint pencil construction lines. It combines geometrical figures — a lettered octagon, a rectangle numbered 1 to 4, and rectangles inscribed within a circle — with mechanical and decorative sketches, among them a windlass (menatoio) and, in the catalogue's reading, a goldbeater's machine. A short note explains that four cords, a b c d, drawn tight by the windlass, hold upright the walls that support a pavilion.

Lettered octagon (top left)
An eight-sided figure at the upper left of the sheet is annotated with the letters e b a e g h [fd]. It sits among several small polygonal plans sketched in ink.

A detail of a framework is lettered d a and b c. The note explains that the four ends of the cords a b c d, drawn taut by a windlass, hold up and steady the upright walls that support the pavilion.

A separate detail isolates the menatoio, the tightening windlass named in the note above, the mechanism by which the four cords of the pavilion frame are drawn taut.
Rectangles inscribed in a circle
A circle encloses rectangles annotated with the letters g, L, chia, dKb, e and f. To its right a rectangle is marked with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4.
Small decorative and mechanical sketches
Scattered across the lower sheet are small ink studies including a knotted scissor-like tool and circular spiral figures, which the catalogue groups with decorative, ornamental and heraldic designs. They overlie many faint pencil construction lines.
