Bombard, winding gear and faint column studies
Two mounted half-leaves, largely blank: a doubled-leather bombard, spring-drums and architectural columns
The upper half-leaf, marked as devoid of writing, carries only faint sketches: columns with moulded bases beneath an arch, and at the right a bombard beside the note 'doubled leather.' The lower half-leaf, blank of text, is filled with mechanical studies: a large spoked wheel, coiled spring- or cord-drums with winding gear, a crank device and a tall spring-loaded column. The Ambrosiana catalogue additionally classifies faint geometric and applied-arts work on the sheet, and further untranscribed marks are too faint to read.

Bombard reinforced with doubled leather
Beside the sketch of a bombard a short note reads 'corame doppio' — a doubled thickness of leather, used to wrap or wad the piece. The gun itself sits among the faint studies on the upper half-leaf.
Spring-drums, a spoked wheel and winding gear
The lower half-leaf gathers a cluster of mechanical studies drawn without captions: a large spoked wheel, coiled spring- or cord-drums, a crank-driven winder and a tall column housing a spring.
Columns and an arch
Ghosted across the upper half-leaf are architectural sketches: columns with moulded bases and capitals standing beneath a shallow arch.
