Profile head, circle-grid rosettes and a note on proportion
A finely hatched male head in profile amid interlocking-circle patterns and figures
The sheet is dominated by a carefully modelled male head drawn in profile to the left, with curling hair and features built up in close hatching. Around it Leonardo has set geometric exercises: clusters of interlocking circles forming hexagonal rosette (flower-of-life) grids, and a note stating that equal parts diminish in number as they grow in magnitude and grow in number as they shrink in size. Below are a woven interlace knot, small circle diagrams and columns of figures. Further untranscribed prose is present at the left, grounded here only by what is visible.

Male head in profile
A youth or warrior is drawn in profile facing left, the hair rendered in fine curling locks and the face and neck modelled with close parallel hatching. It is the most finished element of the sheet.
On equal parts: number against magnitude
Equal parts diminish in number as much as they grow in magnitude, and conversely grow in number as much as they diminish in size. The remark states the inverse relation between the size of the parts and how many there are.
Interlocking-circle rosettes
Several clusters of overlapping circles form hexagonal rosette grids, the so-called flower-of-life pattern, set within larger circles at the upper left and lower centre of the sheet.
Interlace knot
A small woven interlace knot is drawn near the lower left, a compact band of over-and-under strands.
Columns of figures
At the lower right stand loose columns of numbers, including 365 and fractions such as 5/6, apparently jotted calculations rather than a continuous sum.
