The only transcribed writing is a column of figures worked in the upper corners, summed toward totals such as 195 and 200. The drawn matter dominates the page: a lightly shaded hexagonal flower-of-life rosette on a central axis, a freehand study of an arcaded loggia or building seen in perspective, and large ornamental capital letters E, E and G together with a flourished 'QVE'. Faint further jottings, untranscribed here, run beneath the architectural sketch.

Study of an arcaded loggia or building
A freehand pen sketch shows a low building or loggia pierced by a row of round-headed arches, with an upper storey and roof rendered in quick perspective. A smaller repeat of the arcade is drawn below it.
Ornamental capital letters E, E and G
Large decorative capital letters are drawn in the lower left — two forms of E and a G — one of them entwined with a foliate or ribbon motif and surmounted by a pointed finial. A flourished 'QVE' appears at the right.
Hexagonal flower-of-life rosette
A lightly washed circle at the centre-top encloses a six-fold rosette of interlocking arcs set on a vertical and horizontal axis, the same six-fold circle-division explored on the neighbouring sheets.
Columns of figures and their totals
Two short columns of numbers are set in the upper corners and added toward running totals, the left reaching 195 and 200 and the right reaching 63.
