Mechanical and throwing-engine studies (no text)

The leaf carries drawings but the transcription records no words, calling it 'devoid of writings.' A mechanism with a crank and coiled spring occupies the centre, architectural structures are sketched across the top, curved hull- or mould-like forms with internal grids sit at the lower right, and geometric figures with a triangle appear at the left, some in red chalk. The Ambrosiana catalogue tags the sheet with catapults and mortars and with a note on conditions for greater or lesser luminosity. Faint lines of writing seem to lie behind the central mechanism, but none was transcribed.
