The leaf bears no text ('devoid of writing') and is given over to geometric and perspective studies drawn in red chalk and ink. They include receding orthogonals converging to a vanishing point, a chequered ground plane, a cube in foreshortening, an octagon enclosing a four-petalled rosette, small pyramids and a triangular prism, and a large curved form read as a semicircular vault or apse studied in perspective. An old inventory numeral is inscribed near the centre. The Ambrosiana catalogue classes the sheet among studies of millstones and grindstones.

A large red-chalk curved form drawn with a radiating grid reads as a semicircular vault or apse studied in perspective; a horseshoe-shaped arch appears at the right edge.
