Five small geometric figures on a near-blank verso
A circle with an inscribed lens and squares divided by diagonals
e-Leo notes the leaf was invisible before restoration and now shows five small sketches of geometric figures. At the lower left are a circle enclosing a lens- or vesica-shaped form and several small squares subdivided by their diagonals. The Ambrosiana index cross-files the sheet under mechanical instruments — a winch and a wire-drawing bench — and cites Leonardo's own 'mechanical Elements.'

Five small geometric sketches
Grouped at the lower left are a circle enclosing a pointed-oval (vesica) figure and a set of small squares crossed by their diagonals, some subdivided into quarters. They are quick studies of dividing the circle and the square.
