Bell with Ringing Mechanism, a Crown, and a Screw
A pen study of a bell and its lever gear, a crown detail, and a red-chalk screw device
The upper half of the leaf is a pen drawing of a large bell fitted with a linkage of levers and rods - a device for ringing it. To the right a crown is drawn, described as a detail of the crown with its branches, and beside it a small roundel bears an emblem and a line of mirror-script that the bundle does not transcribe. In red chalk at the foot is a screw mechanism rising from a stand.

Bell with lever-and-rod ringing device
A large cast bell is shown hung within a mechanism of jointed levers and rods designed to swing or strike it. The linkage occupies the whole upper part of the sheet.
Crown with its branches
At the right a crown is drawn and captioned as a detail of the crown together with its branches. A small roundel nearby encloses an emblem of fleur-de-lis type, beside a short line of untranscribed mirror-script.
Screw mechanism on a stand
The lower part of the leaf carries a red-chalk drawing of a screw mechanism mounted on an upright stand. It is drawn more loosely than the pen work above.
