A spiral or tightly rolled element rests across the top of a braced timber frame, apparently the hoisting or winding device with a pulley that the catalogue notes. Cords or beams run down toward the ground line, where small fittings are marked.
Arched form and scaffolding
At the left a curved, hatched form suggests a vault or arch, set beside an open framework of uprights read as scaffolding. The assembly stands on a ruled ground line, giving the impression of a construction site.
