Possible cloth-shearing machine in pen
The large pen drawing across the top shows a slatted framed mechanism, tentatively identified in the caption as a shearing machine (cimatrice). Long parallel bars and a hanging linkage suggest a device for working cloth. The strokes are quick and diagrammatic.
Weights and counterweights over a pulley
An ink diagram at the lower right, drawn upside down according to the caption, arranges square weights and counterweights linked by cords converging on a pulley. The note gives the figure 1 400. It studies how loads balance across a pulley system.
T-shaped instrument lettered a n p q
At the lower left a T-shaped instrument is drawn in red chalk and marked with the points a, n, p, q. It appears to be a measuring or setting-out tool. The letters key the parts of the instrument.
