Sketches of Mechanisms
Red-chalk studies of a beam on a central support, a standing device, and a spoked wheel
The page is filled with faint red-chalk mechanical sketches, its caption reading simply 'mechanisms'. A long horizontal beam rests on a single central vertical support in the middle of the sheet; at the upper right a vertical standing device carries horizontal cross-pieces; and at the upper left a small sun-like circle is crossed by radiating spokes. No transcribed text accompanies the drawings, the source being caption-only.

Standing device with cross-bars
At the upper right a vertical device stands on a foot and carries horizontal cross-pieces or plates, sketched in red chalk. Its exact function is not labelled on the sheet.
Beam on a central support
A long horizontal beam is drawn resting on a single vertical post at its centre, in the manner of a balanced arm or trestle. The drawing is a bare mechanical study without accompanying text.
Small spoked wheel
A small circle crossed by radiating spokes, like a sunburst, appears at the upper left. It reads as a wheel or hub among the surrounding mechanism sketches.
